Young Hollywood: More money or fun fashions?

A new store on Stardoll has just opened up: Young Hollywood. Opening my mailbox, it appears to have one new message entitled "Young Hollywood". Expecting something about fame, fashion, and friends, I open it. But, to my surprise, all it is is an advert for a new clothing store. A limited edition store. Now I think Stardoll is starting to get greedy.

Will you be buying from it? I'm quite positive I won't. Why? Number one, I've just been degraded from a Superstar to a Non-Superstar, and number two, I'm low on money as it is.

I don't exactly think it looks very fashionable, either. But I know this leads to more spam for "OMG GREAT PRICES! YOUNG HOLLYWOOD! HB'S! LE! DKNY! ELLE! RARES! OMG NOW SELLING OUT QUICK COME OMG!"

I sure hope this is temporary. Another store to cause hype isn't what Stardoll needs. And as I said above, now they're just getting greedy. Another reason to buy Superstar. Another reason to buy Stardollars. Another reason for frustrated parents. Another way to cause absolute madness.

Tell me your thoughts in the comments.

Miss Stardoll World- An increase in GB spam?

It's that time of year again. Miss Stardoll World will begin shortly and I can honestly say that I'm not looking forward to it. I get a fair amount of covergirl spam as it is, which I don't mind because if people take the time to vote me, I'll vote them back.  But, I can already foresee that there will be a dramatic increase in the amount of guestbook spamming.

I really think people take this way too seriously. As I've mentioned before, I don't believe in virtual recognition as it doesn't get you anywhere in the real world. Sure, it's nice to have a group of regular readers on your blog, or a decent number of page views. I'm talking about the deceitful kind of fame that we see on Stardoll, the one that breaks friendships and clutters guestbooks.

No poor Stardoll member wants to log onto their account to find an abundance of "Vote me for Miss Stardoll World". What really bothers me is the threatening members of Stardoll that think you'll vote them if the cast their ill-grammar abuse on you. I'm even contemplating closing my guestbook for the duration of the voting. I don't want to sound like a snob here, because that's not what I'm trying to be. I want to preserve my short fuse before my temper really gets the better of me and I take it out on someone innocent.

Thankfully, this time last year, I was taking a break from Stardoll so I escaped being caught up in any of the MSW drama. This is my first encounter with it but I've already heard some terrible stories about it - so called 'friends' falling out, LE and rares being offered to anyone that will spare a moment to vote and members spending thousands of Stardollars broadcasting.

I just visited last year's Miss Stardoll World winner, perilice2 and she seems to be quite a deserving winner. I'm not sure if she used the tactics mentioned above but by reading her  presentation, she seems to be a nice person. I'm not saying there is nothing positive about this contest, but the way people go about trying to win just really annoys me.

Last year's MSW winner - perilice2

I'm pretty positive I won't run for MSW. One, I don't have a chance at winning and two, I don't want to really annoy people by spamming their guestbook. I'll be really glad when this whole thing is all over so that some normality can be restored to this site.

Sorry for the long post, some things just really need to be said.

Heyy, I'm GirGirl!

I'll be helping

harrypotterclub: Torn apart?

I am considered a noob buster of HPC, and seeing these things really sadden me.
There have been more and more fights, and we are all turning against each other. Stardoll has lost quite a few valuable members, such as hiccup96, So.Lovely, and SilkSocks. Though they still post every so often, everyone is desperate to get these loved members back. We are going to the ends of the earth to try to make them come back. We've been posting petitions, letters, spamming their guestbooks with sobs, and even more.
Hiccup, Lovely, Socks, if you're reading this, we want you back!
The managers have forgotten about Stardoll, and our owner deleted. We are hoping our beloved club won't be deleted.

Welcome!

Hey! This is my new blog. This is the place to be to learn even more about Stardoll! Get all the gossip here!
I will be writing about the biggest clubs, such as harrypotterclub, Twilight, and MSW. I will also tell you about the newest fashions and noobs to watch out for.
